The forum will be broadcast live and repeated on channel 19 and on the website: carrollcountytv.org. The public is invited to the taping which will take place at 8 p.m., August 11, at the Community Media Center, 1301 Washington Road, Westminster, MD 21157.

Forum for Candidates for U.S. House of Representatives District 1

It will be co-sponsored by AARP. The forum will take place at Queen Anne's High School at 125 Ruthsburg Road Centreville MD on October 17, Sunday from 2PM to 4PM. The moderator will be Dan Premo.

Forum for Republican Candidates for U.S. House of Representatives District 1

It will be co-sponsored by AARP. The forum will take place at Chesapeake College in Wye Mills, Maryland. The forum will begin at 7 p.m. Details will follow.
US Senator
SALARY: 2010 annual base salary is $174,000
TERM: Six years. No term limits.
HOW ELECTED: The US Senate consists of 100 members, two from each state. They are elected by the states at-large and serve for 6 years. One-third of the Senate is up for election every two years. A Senator must be at least 30 years of age and must have been a citizen of the United State for at least 9 year.
